Happy Easter Sunday, and more importantly, NATIONAL PAELLA DAY!

I had a very LA Easter at Ivy at the Shore, which included some very delicious shrimp tacos, and an even spicier Iris Elba sighting. I got a little bit sweaty and swoony in front of my friend's family, so I'm hoping  they thought it was just the spicy salsa and not the smokin' HOT man seated right behind me. 

Besides that, I had another great week of eating and cocktailing my way through Southern California, and am dangerously close to turning into either a tortilla chip or a piece of raw salmon. I'll have more on that in this month's kitchen confessions, which are coming up this week. Eek! Where did March go?
