Men's Health Forum: New "Serious Drinking" Man Manual | New Men's Health Training Day
'Male Health' Icon

Many of us enjoy alcohol and there’s nothing wrong with that.

Our new Man Manual - Serious Drinking - explains how alcohol works, how it affects our bodies and how men can drink more safely.

But alcohol is also a powerful drug that kills someone nearly every hour in the UK, the vast majority of them men. So this booklet also includes tips for controlling drinking and what men should look for if their relationship with alcohol is causing them concern.

The 20 page full colour A5 booklet, written by Jim Pollard and the Drinkaware team with cartoons by John Byrne is full of simple, practical tips that will improve the health of pretty much anyone.

No nagging. No moralising.
Just the hard facts about drink and its effects.

Individual copies cost £2.95. A box of 100 costs £129.00.

After the great response to our one-day men's health training course in November, we've decided to run it again in Leeds on March 10, 2017.

Based on the latest research and best practice, the Men's Health Forum's one day workshop 'How to engage effectively with men to improve their health' pulls the learning together into a practical, accessible package that will enable anyone working in men's health to reach more men, interest more men and improve the health of more men.

The early bird rate for our November course is £160 (incl.VAT) until the end of January. After that the price will increase to £190 (incl. VAT).
