Will the Fed's Beige Book hint at a rate hike?
Happy Labor Day! The final month of the third quarter is underway, and the U.S. economy appears to be doing better now than in the first half of the year. Things are going well enough that the Federal Reserve may feel compelled to raise interest rates for the first time since December.

On Wednesday, the Fed will release its Beige Book, a report with tons of data and info on the economy. It could hold major clues to whether we should expect a rate hike at the group's meeting later this month. Interest rate moves affect many facets of your financial life.
