Symbol of the World in Wiltshire.
Image
Cooks Plantation, nr Beckhampton, Wiltshire, 27th August 2016, Wheat Crop. 120ft approx.

This very beautiful crop circle was always bound to court controversy. But this design has a history which stretches back for thousands of years – from the Indus Valley civilisation to the Buddhists. Sometimes used as a fertility symbol, sometimes as a symbol of the world, the entirety of creation, eternity and then as a warder from evil and a simple good-luck symbol. Although known as the swastika the word comes from the sanskrit svastika, meaning a lucky object.
Although late in the season, and not really having the funds to fly, we thought this formation was worth the effort. More images can be seen on our website.

As the Season Comes to a Close, We Are Making an Appeal.

As the season comes to a close, we are making an appeal to all of you that have possibly, and hopefully  enjoyed our work this crop circle season. If you have enjoyed our newsletters, website, and Facebook page, we hope that it might be possible for you to make a donation towards our work at this moment in time. This year was difficult on many levels, especially financially. At great financial risk we continued to the end of the season hoping that we would be able to financially support what we do. Our situations is rather precarious to say the least, so anything you can donate at this time will help us continue to do what we do.

Thank you.
